Julia Spencer- Fleming’s titles Bell Shaped Flowers Expected release for this novel is fall ’08. Although a mystery runs through it, this is not a true mystery, but more of an inspirational book along the lines of Hallmark Hall of Fame. This novelette is part of a One Night Reader Program designed to encourage the reluctant reader to read and for those who are too busy to read a full novel, this is a one nighter. I hope you’ll enjoy my latest effort and that you’ll embrace this book with open arms. | | Why Casey Had to Die Update Why Casey Had to Die seems to have surfaced once again. After being out one year as a hardback copy, I unexpectedly received an email from Worldwide Mysteries, part of Harlequin. Seems that last year I attended my publisher’s party in Maine. One of the people I met there is an editor at Harlequin. She picked up a copy of my book and handed it to their Worldwide editor. He read it, liked it, and offered me a contract. The paperback edition will be released in February 2009. Two days later, I received another email, this time from a publishing company in England. They wanted to know if they could purchase the world large print rights for my book. I contacted my publisher and they said no, they were going to release the large print edition. That’s due out September,
2008. As if I wasn’t already dancing in the sky, Books in Motion emailed me saying that they’re considering turning Casey into an audio book and were those rights available. This isn’t a done deal yet, but is on the consideration table—good enough for me. My comments on this? Woohoo! |

| blog/website: http//:lchayden.com | | | My Fight With Coachmen On July 30, 2004, we purchased a new camper for
$79,444.00. Ever since we purchased it, we’ve encountered serious problems with the motor home. The latest and most serious problem is that the cabinets are collapsing, making it impossible to open the pantry and microwave doors. We took it to the local Coachmen repair shop to have it fixed. Shortly after the repair, the problem resurfaced. We then took it to an RV repair shop and explained the problem. They told us that the problem stems from faulty construction and no matter how many times we get it fixed, the problem will continue unless they tear down the entire unit and rebuild it. The estimated cost is $5,000.00. We contacted Mel Williams, Assistant Vice President of Coachmen and informed him that the problem stems from faulty construction and since the unit was barely three years old, problems of this magnitude should not be occurring. He wrote back that the company only offers a one year warranty. Whatever happened to pride in our work? I strongly feel that it’s time for Americans to stand by their work. I’d love to hear your comments on this. |

If you can do that, I’ll send you the manuscript and if you don’t like it, there’s no pressure to review it or blurb it. If you’re interested, contact me at lchauthor@yahoo.com |
